The contract of High-Power AC Drive HXD1 electric locomotive undertaken by CNTIC was signed officially. The total contract price is about 1.1 billion which contains 40 sets electric locomotives. Mr. Wang Xusheng, General Manager of CNTIC signed the contract on behalf of CNTIC. This contract follows CNTIC’s project of procuring and importing 180 sets Zhuzhou-Siemens High Power AC Drive electric locomotive in the year of 2004.
