On November 26th, the CNTIC VPower Energy, an LNG vessel of CNTIC, was successfully berthed at Thilawa port, Rangoon, Myanmar, and started to supply LNG to a power station. With a length of 272 meters and a gross tonnage of over 100,000 tons, it is the longest and largest ship that has ever entered the Yangon River and berthed there.
The vessel, an LNG floating storage unit (FSU), will continuously and stably supply LNG for the Myanmar 900MW LNG to Power Project which is jointly funded, constructed and operated by CNTIC and VPower Group, improve the stability of power operation, and help the project company integrate into the whole industrial chain of LNG and distributed energy in the future.
